As BJMClark said there's already diminishing returns throughout the system plus the Tradition/Change slider helps so if you have an OP character it is riskier to level up more and more. Seems a bit unnecessary, it may be cool to be able to be on top of the food pyramid, but people who have invested a bunch of time (or botted) to become OP are there for a reason.

Ugh, bot harder is your best argument?

Dude, My botting is at best equal to someone elses botting, and most likely inferior, due to better mountains claimed better q swamps, and what not.
even if it were the same, It still does nothing to counter or catch up to someone who is doing the same damn thing, but longer.

And if they should decide to halt my progress by waltzing up and murdering me, there is fuckall I could do about it.

Sure they're doing it longer than you, but the longer they do it the worse results they get, and eventually (around 800/800 like I said), there's a cutoff point where its totally feasible to catch up to them enough.

I must admit though, I'd prefer a stat cap or something of the sort.

Which is what I said here, and got shit on for it, been saying capping combat (Albeit very high) since 2011.

Don't change the LP/Stats formula.
Make characters accumulate age (ticking even when they are not online) and die of old age.

How hard is it to start up a pearl bot, buy top Q gear and LA jewelry, buy top curios/curio-crafting infrastructure, and run a curio eater bot for 2 months after one hour of work a day max making curios etc???

Aren't bots against the rules?

Please elaborate on how you came to this conclusion.

I like this idea (provided it only affects combat skills). Makes it easier for newcomers to catch up.

We already have a solution, and it's capping deltas.
