Leather armor = twig armor

Slightly tangential, but..
How about different arrow points, like in real life? Field points, broadheads, mankillers, tourney, flight, etc. I grew up on archery, and there are a lot of different types. (though Ive never actually seen a mankiller)
Also. could we maybe use a hammer and forge to beat coins into arrowheads?

Yeah i thought about the coin thing too. seemed like the most obvious way to handle it.
The ones who see things differently.

You can praise them, disagree with them, quote them, disbelieve them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can't do is ignore them.
And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius.

I personally have no issue with leather armor, even without a boar helm (I wear a band-aid constantly). It helps immensely when fighting fox. I think the key thing you need to remember is that if you are fighting something in a relatively fair fight, most attacks should be dodged, not mitigated with armor. My leather takes about 5 damage per piece for each lvl 10 fox I kill in melee. With just 3 tubs I produce way more leather than I consume, and the mitigation provided by the armor means I can keep killing without stopping to rest.

Try wearing a shield and using the Shield combat maneuver; that virtually negates wear on my armor unless I am seriously outclassed by the fauna.
