What we LOVE about this game...

The fact that everything in the game has been constructed by players and has a proper story behind it due to that.
How with a bit of effort you can become a name everyone in the game knows and fears.

Uhm.. everything, really ^^

i have a 1-week trial for Fallen Earth right now and most of the time, i'm playing H&H instead.
it's really ironic, but H&H has more of a post-apocalyptic vibe than Fallen Earth has: Surivive, rebuild civilization, be slightly paranoid because of permadeath and pk. Better stay away from crowded places because there may be ppl roleplaying insane lunatics infected by a mysterious hitler-zombie-virus that makes them kill everyone they see (or maybe they just like messing stuff up)

It can't be easy to stay objective with the rnadom rage and hate that crop up from time to time. They deserve a feel good thread every now and then. ;-)

It's clear that despite how much broken shit proliferates this game a lot of us find ourselves uncannily addicted to it. I think it's important we all take a moment to analyze why and let the devs know what we like and love about this game so that those aspects are preserved in future updates.

Yes, thank you; it has been very good feedback. While Jorb and I tend to ignore everything contrary to our own vision, it is still very good to know which aspects are more appreciated, so that we know that we can try and capitalize harder on them. :)

1. Permadeath, meaning you have to be so much more careful.
2. You can actually impact the game world.
3. its a long term game.

1) Permadeath, and the resulting paranoia
2) Practically no grinding, except in the beginning. Everything you do is useful! You still gain XP for doing things, but that's not why you do it.
3) FEPs. Still needs some work, but it's nice how the whole economy revolves around making food instead of weapons and armor.
