I agree that blocking aminals should be impossible, but i also think they should not run away. If they do run, it should be very slow since they are bleeding with holes in them.

I think the running away part is the best. you have to take care and follow them, they DO stop eventually you know. just make sure you shoot the right one again else you'll have an angry still very healthy specimen on your hands (this statement does not take into account deer.)

The real problem right now is that bears give way to much LP for the effort it takes to kill them. I think hunting could be made more interesting and hunting in groups should give a good advantage in my opinion.

I second this. If you have 1 HHP left you should be crawling everywhere. However im not sure how that would work with the way the walking speed system is setup

Actually, quite easily. If you have 50% HHP, your maximum speed is 50% of whatever speed you currently have set your character to walk. If you've set your character to run, your run speed is 50%. Walk, 50% walk speed. Crawl, 50% crawl speed. Sprint, 50% sprint speed.

This works well, whether you're hunting people or animals.

The problems that needs fixing: animals running away and packs of mobs gangbanging players.

After those are solved, then we can talk.

Animals need to have stamina =|

An animal that has been wounded to a certain point should start bleeding, leaving a trail or just a puddle if it isn't running (doesn't even have to do damage, just for tracking purposes).
