Yah, he seems really eager to facilitate the rapid consumption of food, I suppose he likes FEP pushing.

I would prefer if the hunger system was fixed so that we dont' need to eat as much food to go along our day.

Which is PRECISELY why i told the nub to stfu. I at least provide explanations for why ideas suck. It's called....feedback...that thing he quoted me asking for. I am not a hypocrit even if I can can be an insufferable condescening jackass....it's because I care.

It's not that I wish to facilitate stat pushing. It's that I would like to see a system exist where character development does not involve complicated abuse of the system. I wish see natural mechanics come about rather than an arbitrated/policed system.

That aside, I do think warfare should be cheaper to make defense a viability. Tying character development to a timeline erases any possibility of achieving that under our system of permadeath and fighter/crafter toon division.

But seriously, not your best idea. Not even in the top 100.

I think it's perfectly viable given FEP mods or tea. Do you see a theme here in these suggestions over FEP pushing? It should be a viable game mechanic that exists as an expendature of extra resources accrued playing the game rather than existing as an arbitrary timeline of logged in activity that encourages afk/macroing of hunger.

THe concept here being that it takes extra resources to consume FEP faster than the allotted timeline. I think you will find that the cost of these resources can be adjusted a lot easier when the final tweaking stage of fine balance comes about than trying to account for the difference between those technically adept enough to write/record macros.

I think this is a bad way to allow FEP pushing, though. The tea idea does the job equally well, requires a bit of resources, makes tea actually useful and doesn't feel wrong like this does.

And Jackard. Why are you so relaxed about Chak's idea which wasn't even thought out to begin with, and is helping him. But do the thing where you point to your location...

there are varying degrees of suck between bad ideas

also i only point to my location when certain of victory

Why is it a 'bad way'? I think it's even better than tea because it works with Pacho's Tea and the water switch. Moreover the cost of resources for rapid consumption rates can be directly adjusted with this mechanic in final tweaks. It also would be the only slider yet that doesn't function best at extreme ends (except perhaps in the case of very early game). I've yet to see anyone else suggest another balanced way to allow stat pushing.

Because the personal beliefs system is bloated as it is, and it doesn't make any sense for this to be a belief. Much better to just have tea create hunger.
