Massive difference. Shamans are well-respected leaders of certain tribes of peoples, believed to have the power to commune with gods, banish evil spirits, and the like. Witches were those believed to be satan worshippers, they practiced homeopathic medicine which was seem as strange and therefore evil. See my previous post. Shamanry and witchcraft should not be confused.

I'm inclined to agree with Sarge's take on this; I don't much like the introduction of magic and curses and mysticism into the game; I think a herblore skill would be more appropriate, for poisons (and maybe implement my poisoned well idea) and for treatments for wounds, poisons, and the like.

I know shamanism is different from witchcraft, I was saying that they were both male and female shamans and male and female witches, look it up. I think shamanism and witchcraft should be different skills available to both genders so you don't have to play a girl to create enchants.
