Fairies & Fairy rings (Chopper macro deterrant)

Or introduce "Blister" condition that shows up like "Torn in the foot" but less often. Chopping trees is a tough action. It should be a bit erratic and not completely predictable, but still not a huge headache for those who need wood and chop manually.

viable, realistic but I would like to see deterrent feature operate on a risk/punitive/reward synergy. Doing an activity with a macro should carry risks of punitive action. As compensation for dealing with punitive actions, rewards should be available to those who are paying attention.

Without all three I'm very wary of games using active macro deterrent features. That and the whole bit is very thematic.

My fucking god, thorns are the absolutely most annoying intended 'feature' of the game.

What should the mushrooms give you in FEPs though...Psy? Cause they're magical and...
Ugh. Anyway, I like the idea. I don't think there's a tree chopping macro as you could run out of trees, but yeah.

/Alters chopping macro to avoid areas with fairy rings¹.

Carry on.

¹Okay, so I don't actually have a macro but seriously, it's not going to be that hard.

As an alternative solution, give every player an ingame "tree count" equal to the number of trees he has chopped down minus the number he has planted. If a player has a tree count over 50 dryads will attack on sight. As part of this update dryads will be made tougher than bears and more common.

I think this is not a good idea. That's what tree planter pots were implemented for. Maybe you guys should start a save the world club and go around the Haven and Hearth world and plant trees. It would make Haven and Hearth history I'm sure.

Maybe you should remember what the Ring of Brodgar area looked like in the last map.

Oh wait..
