Nonono. I like my pumpkins to feed cows. Don't make me have to feed them chantrele or fucknows what so I can get their stupid q up.

@ Dataslycer, you've written the simulation, why not make the dev's work a little easier and make 3 proposals with different time lines and q progress averages, by changing the random factor as well as the gestation and groth from calf to cow/bull?

My program doesn't really do anything with the amount of time for a calf to grow to an adult, just gives number of generation for average quality and vice versa. Anyhow, I modified my program with Potjeh's -5/20 variance and here are the results:

It takes an average of 5 generations to reach q40.
It takes an average of 13 generations to reach q100.

In 15 generations, the average quality is 116.
In 30 generations, the average quality is 239.

For my suggestion of -5/12 variance:

It takes an average of 9 generations to reach q40.
It takes an average of 24 generations to reach q100.

In 15 generations, the average quality is 64.
In 30 generations, the average quality is 122.

Does loftar know c++ though?

At birth, actually. I've made the changes in the code now, so they'll be effective from the next server restart.

Wow, my first cow birth. And the quality shot up compared to either parent. So happy. Thx loftar.
