No I reacted that way because this discussion is useless. Jorb and Loftar have stated time and time again they won't ever charge anything for H&H.

I seen some indie games before and every ended in two ways: or they become commercial in some way or got dead as developers tends to lose interest or commitment over time.

Very true indeed. Something in terms of funding needs to happen sooner or later as the game grows, and this needs to be discussed before it's too late or an undesirable payment system suddenly becomes forced on us.

I recall the devs saying that they really don't care if 5 or 500 people play this game, it is simply and only for their own pleasure. This attitude might have changed and I could very well understand that. The game is showing some actual potential and you could sure get some bucks out of it.

Honestly, I'd prefer a monthly fee to play the game to a RL store. If the devs want to make money of H&H they have every right to, but when you can just buy a 500K LP character the game loses all meaning.

Maybe you could kill two birds with one stone. The tipping point for server lag seems to be about 300-ish. Implement a player cap and give priority to players who have donated. It would give no in-game benefits and would solve the lag problem and I think we can all agree that there is one.

So if there are x number of players on the server, those who try to log on go into a queue, donating players would jump to the front.

With or without donations population cap would be a good bandaid till they figure out another fix for the lag.
