A) Heart tastes good.
B) Cannibalism is good for you, because the meat needs very little digestion.
C) Again, this thread is getting long and into specifics. In my opinion you are making J&L look stupid. If they like the OP's idea they can figure it out just fine : )

Cannibalism is not exactly all that healthy. While emergency situations won't doom a group, in every culture with regularly practiced cannibalism, you'll find very high incidences of deformed prions, i.e., Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease (NOT mad cow, which is a separate and non-transmittable disorder). And human flesh is going to go through just about the same amount of digestion as any other food.

As for the suggestion, I for one look forward to seeing powergamers hunting down and killing each other for their powerful organs, while leaving the weak RPers to play their own game. Hm... a gang of cannibals attacking a village, so strong that they can only be killed by destroying their brains...
Surprise.

Floyd: You've never eaten an animal's heart?

Peter: Those diseases of which you speak could easily be tied to the fact that the people who engage in cannibalism live in the damned jungle and don't exactly consume a balanced diet. :3 That's like saying eating beef and cheese makes you fat. Everything is bad for you if not in moderation.

I have not eaten heart....I've felt one, not consumed.
Although, as Jefery Dahmer claims, human bicep tastes like steak.

There was a scientific experiment done where someone ate parts of a person who died in an accident, and he said that it tasted like veal, and that most people would be unable to tell the difference.

It's actually a problem Feri. The mad cow disease outbreak in Britian was because they would grind up cow parts to feed to cows for protein. It's really not good to be eating members of your own species for a number of reasons, but this is the biggest one. For lack of a better term, it rots your brain away until you die (i'm being rather vague/probably incorrect, but it works well). Cannibalism probably isn't a big deal for people who don't do it all the time, but those who do could get sick.

Well, grinding up cows into cow food is a litte odd, as cows usually eat grass. And that raises the question, is it bad because it was cannibalism, or because it was just that eating meat is bad for plant eaters.
