this is from last year, but just a reminder for new readers - DatOneGuy is misusing this term
"No NPCs" refers to the fact that
all units should be instantly recognizable as players or mobs in a permadeath pvp game
it
does not and
should not have anything to do with preventing the introduction of automated mechanics that might improve gameplay (ex. trading with vendor/barter stands)
