You'd get butthurt when your vein runs out of metal and start complaining that they should be infinite.
Anyone who's bitching about finding metal is only doing so because they haven't found it yet, which they haven't done because they haven't looked hard enough yet.

Hahaha, I got me a nice situation. I have an iron mine within walking distance, but it's claimed by an oppressive communist dictator with a fluffy lining by the name of Kegas.
Still, this is one good idea.
