I will see you one better.

Eating mass amount of onions is plenty better for you than eating a small amount of cyanide. If someone ate an ounce of cyanide, and 20 onions, the onions would definitely be the least of their worries.

You're quite right and that is why cyanide should give you black FEPs and not onions.

That comparision is stupid. At least make each of the four amounts comparable to each other. How can you compare 20 onions with 20 lbs of cheese? To act properly you'd have to compare 20 lbs of onions with 20 lbs of the other stuff. And honestly, if you do that then it doesn't really matter what you eat. Anything you eat 20lbs of every day is probably bad for you.

So a better comparision would be 20 onions, 20 sausages, 20 slices of cheese and 20 glasses of wine. And here would the onions be the major problem.

Cyanide should give immediate HHP damage, but that's not the point of this thread.

Id just like to point out as long as the kill is fresh you can cut meat from it and eat. And seeing how food never goes bad in H&H you must assume everything is freshly killed coming from the steaming hot dead carcass.

hmm fresh raw pork and chicken can still give you trichinosis and salmonella, respectively.
