You need 200 strength and 30 minutes to smash a brick wall.

I think you're missing something here.

...i've seen someone go from base to 200str in a matter of weeks. [it took me far far longer..] But apparently it can be done.

That's true, but a reset also fixes characters that exploited bugs which no longer exist.

I hope the ancestor worship or whatever it was they mentioned should be implemented before a reset gets looked at before we get a new map. It sounds interesting, at least.

I'm really looking forward to seeing much vaster expanses of varied wilderness between settlements. When I started playing the world seemed huge, my original home so close to the standing stones is testament to that, but now not so much. Keep up the good work Jorb and Loftar :D.

Indeed and they've said they wont do it unless they have to and if they have to some compensation will be made to those who have lost all that effort.

The thing with a character reset is that those who are currently most powerful are that way because they play a lot, its not like a reset will stop them doing it again and then the problem, if you want to call it that, is back again. Yea, the 33% chance beer fails.

Not if there are 3 or 4 of you destroying it at the same time.

(Well, you still need the 190 STR and a pickax each, but it won't take 30 minutes).

Self-serving arguments aside, I'm positive that, if the situation were reversed, they'd be pushing to keep them.

As for myself, I'd be very disappointed if all the work I put into my character were to disappear, especially since I did so believing that the Devs would bring them to the next map as they have stated before. Then again, I also accept that this is their decision.

Guess what side of the fence I'm on? Sitting here rich as hell with stats and skills higher than all but the top tier of players.
I want a reset because the fun of the world starting from nothing, the rush of foxes being a problem and overcoming it is FUN.
I enjoy it, lots of other people apparently do.
The problem is that the higher ups get that way because they enjoy grinding and being higher up, which while fine is obviously not what everyone is aiming for so you argue against resets because you believe an even field is the only reason people ask for them.

So make a new character and stop trying to impose your view on those that disagree.

Would that topological complexity allow mountains? I'd really like the ability to carve a little niche in the mountains, digging below for treasures, cutting through to create tunnel paths, and building my home on a little outcrop, so I can survey the area from high above.
You see a masterful engraving by Blaze. On it is Blaze, bears, boars, and foxes. Blaze is striking down the bears. The boars are screaming. The foxes are in a fetal position. The image relates to the return of Blaze in the late winter of 2009.

How many people can you get facing a brick wall at once? We broke a runestone once, and only four people could attack it at once -- one from each side.

Z axis would be fucking amazing. It isn't that hard to do either, just shrink the sprites/tiles as they get further below you on the Z axis. That would be epic :3

edit: Colbear: I don't know, probably 3 or 4 if you go at a cornerpost (not sure if you can get through the hole created?)
