Not at all, my post has two seperate ideas, those two ideas arent suppost to be merged together. Seperate means seperate. Its like adding water to pancakes, it just doesnt work.
Instead of focusing on trying to find any flaw in everyones ideas why dont you add something that is actually useful.
Early world exploit: Put your hearthfire inside a cave, then hold shift to position a claim right in front of a cave. After 8 hours the claim will be unbreakable. Since your hearthfire is inside the cave, you can still get back inside, and leave, but nobody will be able to enter, effectively making you unraidable for the first 3-7 days. Enjoy

if you actually read before posting you'd have seen both were already brought up

i quoted the parts of your post relevant to my reply. weep more, novice

Or maybe make it impossible to do ANYTHING with the item(s) the person stole until the scents are gone? Like that the person can only drop 'em and pick 'em up again (other players can pick them up too, but ofcourse, they also can't use 'em)?

You know, alt vaulting actually is just like cheating. You make it impossible for the person to get their stolen items back...
