I'd like to see greater character customization in general, but I appreciate that it's a matter of developer resources.

Skin colour, body type, hair style. The big three.

This isn't a fucking sitcom, we don't need a token black guy. Which, BTW, is a really racist thing, they basically hire an actor just because he's black.

Also, I demand every single ethnicity to be represented if this gets through. Not all whites look the same either, I can easily recognize if somebody is from the west Balkans. Hell, I can even notice some differences in the looks of people from different groups of villages in my local area, so if they don't correctly represent Pougarje inhabitants I'll be pissed.

Why, prey tell, is simply pointing out that Black people were once made slaves and compelled to pick cotton amusing?

Is it because you know think that saying this will aggravate me, that you think the rest of the forum will agree with you, and so it's at my expense?

No I just would like to roleplay as a slave.

You can PR as slave, just report to my house and u will chop trees for me all day...

OT: yes even add black races, egyptians and so on. I want to have pyramid as a house!

You can't put brown characters in your game because your playerbase is so racist that they'll villify them?

In essence, yes.

Amazing, even historical books with a viking/germanic setting are getting plenty of non-white characters now, not to mention the TV shows that force "diversity" down everyone's throats. Seriously, I find it quite ridiculous how they force "diversity" on every single plot/game/whatever when it simply does not fit. Gee, what's so creepy about it? Haven't you ever been to Europe? Well, actually most of Europe these days isn't the best example, I suppose, but still...

Haven & Hearth is a MMORPG (Massive Multiplayer Online Roleplaying Game) set in a fictional world loosely inspired by Slavic and Germanic myth and legend

The thing is according to history slavs and german were white....

Now day a person from germany could be white or black
Or a person in Slavic country could be white or black...

but according to history they were white.

so the real question is why do you feel it so important to break realism that this game does strive for.....
just to have a specific group represented in game?

We also need Native Americans, and Asian and Jews/Israelite.

But they are not added ... "Not because of racism" ... but "Because of history"

I personally found it insulting that you would suggest that its racism and not because of realism that the game strives for...

And to be blunt I think you are the person being racist.

The game doesn't entirely strive for realism (see: crafting with dreams, teleportation).

And lol at claiming the OP's racist. You people are a dime a dozen.

"Playing the race card is an idiomatic phrase that refers to the act of bringing the issue of race or racism into a debate, perhaps to obfuscate the matter"

Other words the OP felt the only way to win his "Race" war was to bring the racist card into play.

"The game doesn't entirely strive for realism"
Ya and you can't hump your fellow hearthlings..... either so it can't be realistic11!

But seriously....
It is a game that places itself in a period of time.
Than uses the MYTHOLOGY based on that time.

crafting not realistic? really... that is odd... how many games you know uses slag and bloom metal working process?

when fertilizers are added the slag should be used for it... and look just like real life.

I guess i got one question...
Why does he think his race is so superior and deserves special treatment to break realism of the game lore?

The race card claim is often used by racists trying to deny something has a racial component. Try again.

Read again. I said crafting with dreams. Teleportation. Not quite realistic. Oh and also reincarnation.
