well, music would definitely be Charisma based? perhaps Charisma and Int

If there's no metal, can we at least get to play Immigrant Song at Brodgar?

Anyway, does music really have to have tangible benefits? I would make a band even if music gave nothing but fun. I mean, wouldn't it be awesome to hide behind buildings in an enemy village and start playing Never Gonna Give You Up?

id rather see music implemented without perks because it'd be entertaining

just like the drawing on notes suggestion from a while back

you could work out bonuses or whatever afterwards

A random un-thought through idea...
You could by some means Scribe a song pre-playing it, and save it [likely by writing it on paper]
Then when you play the song, people that like they could donate lp to make the song stronger and the most lp it gets the stronger the songs buffs are.... possibly haveing the option to donate lp to make the song weaker if they dislike it.
while this would no doubt have people just donating lp to their friends songs and using alts to donate lp to themself, it at least doesn't 'feel' as problamatic. *shrugs* If a entire town donates lp to make a song powerful, even if the song sucks, it makes sence to me for that song would have a strong impact.

I'm OK with either of those outcomes. To be honest I don't mind if it's easy to top out your song effectiveness by making basic learning songs, so long as people are able to play a variety of musics to get positive effects and have music where effect doesn't matter and it's just good to listen to.

Looks like full plate armor and a kite shield, a knight?
That last one I'm not entirely sure about..

Maybe the Knight could be another credo, for protectors of a town/city/castle/yougettheidea?
