My character drowned, please change swimming!

I knew that and read that before. But how could I manage not to die when my char ran into the river due to a lag. This isn't really fair right?

Hope you can do anything there...

I've got 54 constitution, and I've yet to meet a river I couldn't swim across. Got close one time, crossing at 14% remaining, but that was a reasonably wide river. New players should, of course, stay away from the rivers, but anyone who's played for a couple weeks should have the ~40 con needed to swim an average river.

Stop complaining and eat some bread.

This!
an Ingame waring would be nice. like if u reach the point where u can't walk anymore, but have to swim, there could come a popup like "sure u wanne go swimming? You can easly die if u don't have the eyperience" or something like this

Or like already said be4 make the skill alot more expensive

I take it you haven't been paying any attention to the forums, then?

Ironically, you cannot drown unless you are able to swim.

Let me repeat myself: don't buy swimming as it currently exists!

The devs are planning to implement boats and might even add one of the suggested safeguards, such as a swim toggle or being washed downriver. And won't your early adopting look foolish then?
