Why would we change how the system is now? This system works fine. Right now if a trader values something he/she makes worth more than what people have in past he/she can set the prices to what he/she wants as-long as they don't have competition. Also what if a trader has more, lets say, floatsams then they need they can drop price down for them but not get rid of them so if someone wanted to they could still trade them but for lower than normal. Then they could also go other way. Lets say, There low on bluebells. They can change from the average of 60 points to 80-100 dependent on how bad they want them. The current system is fine no need to change it. Like everyone else is saying, If you wanna know a price for something, Generally you can check the big traders like Fluffy or Ramones.

But who says a more stable and equal market wouldn't be better for nearly all?

I can tell you don't play the game like at all. There is nothing unstable or unequal about the current state of trading. Also your one statement, generalized responses don't do anything. I can make bullshit statements with no proof nor examples nor solid logic too ya know. We need a democratic forum system because the current one is unstable and unequal. I propose a close of this thread.

The introduction of a respected currency system would flatten prices, which would be good for the economy of the game. It would also encourage large stable trading centers.

whoever that says "good for the economy" never does anything good for the economy in general. real or game.

When people say good for the economy and it works you never hear of it. So in turn you never hear things that are said to be good for the economy that end up good.
