And if that's impossible as well, inb4 lockdown'd HF vaults
Things like lockdown, and invulnerability, lead to abuse.
You'd know, it's like programming. Fix one problem, make 100000 other.

If your HF was locked you wouldn't be able to make a HF. If someone else broke it you would be without a HF and 10x more vulnerable.

So just move to another vault and aggro a frog? That's not the fukn point, but if you try make simple fix, it opens problems. You think Loftar hasn't thought of most of these simple fix-it-all suggestions?

If you cant summon someone that is offline then its a bug, aggroing frogs or not. Of course you could move around but noone is safe without a HF. The second you would log out you would die. No one can stay online indefinitely, even if you had 50 vaults you would CD/go to work/fall asleep and people would catch up to you.

Edit: Leme just add that if you were in the world like aggroed you would die where your standing if you were summoned offline.

Until the map resets 20 min later and the frog disappears.

Then just keep your window online you dont rly need a HF to prevent getting summoned, that's the point. And if you make lockdown HFs, ppl will either abuse it (like they abused summoning for getting army on your location) or they will hate it (like they hate the combat fix, the HHP damage, etc.)
Both the combat fix and HHP damage seem just liek "this is pretty simple to do, lets do it and see what happens". Simple fixes won't do

I think your missing the point. The core problem the OP is referring to is that effort from both sides is imbalanced.

If you want to break into the most secure system you can. But it will require effort. Same in this instance. If someone wants to make it impossible to get summoned they should. But right now its to easy for the perpetrator. If both sides put up effort its fine, but when the perpetrator can stay logged in for 2 min moving his HF its not balanced.

Same goes for rams. The attackers need to camp a ram for 24h that takes 30 seconds to break. But its slightly balanced as it can be placed there in stealth. Patrol bots remove that ability dragging it over to imbalanced.

The core fix is to make equal efforts result in no winners similar to tick tack tow. HF locking wont bother anyone other then the person getting tracked and doesn't have any side affects for someone that doesn't leave scents. It also makes it fair for someone that is actively trying to escape.

But removing walls would be just as bad as handing it over to the raiders/greafers. Note that the HHP was a pore workaround for a limitation and as for combat fixes... well that belongs in a whole thread on its own.
