Everything is a slippery slope if not kept in check by principles. You'll note that there isn't anything to warrant the absence of such a change either.

Interestingly, I'd argue the exact opposite. It is precisely because I have no principles when it comes to GUIs that it sucks so much. (Which stems, of course, from the fact that I hate GUIs.)

Of course, that isn't actually a principle. But as the aside that it is, I see what you mean, and I agree. The GUI would be better if it had been done by someone who didn't hate it.

Arrowkeys for walking

Postby lukisbg » Thu Mar 18, 2010 1:03 pm

Hello!

I think it will be a huge improvement, if you can add arrowkeys-support for walking...

If you press Up, the char goes NW, right for NE, down for SE and left for SW.

Is it possible to add this feature?

Sure but I think we should first have some kind of 'keyword' based search feature on this forum so people can do at least the most basic checks to see if an ideas has already been suggested umpteen-million times and not create superfluous threads. I'd recommend putting it in a blatantly obvious spot like the upper right hand corner of the header bar.
