I'm obliged to suggest slivovitz every time new alcohol types are discussed.

Yeah, Jorb said he would draw plum trees to this last reset. He must have forgot it or something.

The hops serve as a flavoring agent but they are not required for fermentation. Beer wasn't made with hops until the 800s. A micro-brewery actually took a stab at making Sumerian beer based on a recipe from 1800B.C. Check it out here. They used barley bread, roasted barley, malted barley, dates and honey to make it.

So Jorb remembered to draw four new pointless trees, but "forgot" to draw the most useful tree there is? I'm taking this as a deliberate personal insult :x

well let me clarify: the hop flavor is pretty essential for palatability imo. it also helps as a preservative.

I meant to draw it, but four trees later I didn't quite have it in me. Sorry. I haven't forgotten. :)

Back when you added mulberries, you placed some trees at RoB to let everyone get the seeds. Now there's no such center point. Does this mean you won't add new trees without a map reset, or will you just spawn some randomly throughout the world? Searching for a new tree could be an epic quest ;)

There's a new plan for how to introduce new trees. You'll see. :)

Sounds exciting. Do I smell self-regenerating forests? Or tree domestication?
