the rest of you can rest assured that we have our top cryptographic experts working on this cipher and expect its hidden meanings to come to light any day now

Dammit, how can I write a indignant reply if you guys are actually funny! In retrospect I admit this system is in fact retarded, but as I've said the coin system doesn't work because very few people have coins, I merely was trying to think of system that would work for people without a mine. If you don't like my idea could you actually make a coherent arguement against it?

Oh and just to beat you to the punch:

Translation: Why are you laughing? I'm trying to make a serious arguement! Why the hell are you laughing? Oh, screw it, in retrospect my massive bout of stupidity is actually hilarious.

Idea two: Mines are harder to aquire, but everyone can get mines.

Think the first mine was found within... 3 days?

We had the first mine within 24 hours of the restart.

We should use bread and other food stuffs as money. Instead of paying for something with coins, you pay with some other item. Like if you want metal and someone is selling metal and that person wants bread, you could pay them bread and get metal in return.

I think I will call this system "trade". I hope to see it implemented soon.

I mean look, money is fucked up in games because all the flaws of real money are brought to the evident truth. IE: It's fake and easily created. Unless you have a Government with some kind of agreement with other Governments (currency exchange rates), artificially imposing coinage doesn't work as anyone with a mine can simply run the economy by pumping out an unlimited (literally) number of coins. It only works if there's some kind of "set" NPC store where monsters drop gold coin and everyone can spend it for the next best suit of armour. Something that will never happen in H&H.
