It truly indeed is the only solution. For population and overcrowding that is.

But in the topic of 'mines and resources' jorb as quoted above says map expansion isn't his solution to the lack of mines. So what I take from this is, he might very well expand the map, but decide not to add any mines in the new map. Therefore still no solution to the availability of resources to new players.

As it stands now due to increased LP cost for example it might take only a few weeks, maybe 2 months to get q300 crops if you're dedicated and continue raising your crop quality diligently and properly as well as keeping your Farming a good deal above.

The only real limiter at all are natural resources and some things (Farming -cough cough-) are completely void of these limits and are quite simply an LP/Time race.

Is this a reply to my comment?

Assuming that it isn't, my above idea kinda solves that problem.
My idea doesn't take note of when you started, but instead it takes into account the effort you put into that crop to affect quality.

Unfortunately it can't solve the race to secure natural resources, like high q clay spots and mines.

Well the problem is how to make a difference between the person who abuses this and stays on ALL the time and does it versus the person who can't because they have a job, a life and responsibilities but puts in more effort when they're online.

Crops Redesign
Among other things, it contains the skeleton of a new system for raising crop q.

Lol. This almost exactly what I was talking about. Putting care in your crops makes the quality go higher, instead of being attributed to your farming skill.

But unfortunately some people don't agree....
