There will always be a difference between new and old players. If the devs feel like they need to wipe all characters then there will be a good reason to do so. Think of say a huge exploit that let players earn massive lp.

"superplayers" Are easier to kill than you think. You just never tried.

No, you fucking retard. The game's not finished and it's very unbalanced, and to balance it will need an overhaul AND wipe (to get rid of the previously-unbalanced players). There's already exploits that do all sorts of broken things, including getting LP, protecting items (including stolen ones), exploiting the belief sliders, and all this stuff. How are going to get rid of industry/nature alts? Character wipe. How are you going to get rid of exploited LP gains? Character wipe. How are you going to get rid of alt-stored items? Character wipe.

I don't want to be a superplayer. I just want to play something where "don't do anything mean to anyone or a superplayer is going to come and destroy our town and kill all our players" is a valid command. That Jon guy wasn't a superplayer, but he still wrecked new Goonheim and killed our newbies and camped our guys for hours and there was nothing we could do about it. If Raephire or Rift decided that they wanted X amount of wrought iron per day as "tribute", or else they'd kill us all? There'd be nothing we could do ingame about it -- our only recourse would be to whine about it on the forums and hope people felt sorry for us. If someone decided to waltz into our space and smash our walls and kill everyone he saw, we'd basically have to sit there and wait for him to get bored -- no matter how many of our guys were online at the time.

That's fucking retarded.

A character wipe would not solve any of those problems. It would only temporarily re-balance characters, by itself. And it would do more damage than good. A character wipe should only come after the causes of those problems are fixed. Removing the results of a cause is a futile effort, without first removing the cause itself.
The grumpiest tree you ever did see.

Ok, yeah, but erm, that hasn't happened, and I see no indication that it ever will happen. Beyond Rae and Rift and Blaze, according to you and your argument, there will never EVER be a new superplayer EVER because they can't POSSIBLY catch up, so as long as the two or three or four we currently have are cool, we have nothing to worry about.
i guess they never miss huh

Sure, he doesn't know, but knowing his impulsive BS, maybe one furry comment would put him over the edge.

At least my name isn't mentioned along with the "Might go bat-poo-poo insane and start killing everyone for the evulz." list.
You see a masterful engraving by Blaze. On it is Blaze, bears, boars, and foxes. Blaze is striking down the bears. The boars are screaming. The foxes are in a fetal position. The image relates to the return of Blaze in the late winter of 2009.

So you do want to join the "superplayers". You want to wipe characters that take minutes to recreate and make sure you're not as easily harmed.
Instead of whining about being too weak you could you know, dedicate time to be stronger and match the "super players". If you dedicated a week to getting LP and str you'd get pretty close to what for example Rift is right now.

You should not get worked up so much, it's almost funny as it happens often if someone replies with something you don't like.
The ones who see things differently.

You can praise them, disagree with them, quote them, disbelieve them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can't do is ignore them.
And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius.
