Since when do the devs do resurections on request?

Thoughts on the further development of Haven & Hearth? Feel free to opine!

Not true at all.

removing walls from walled-in new players. Removing walls from truly impenetrable forts. Showing players where dead players' hearths resided.

None of these were due to bugs. The first two were just clear examples of in-game shitiness. The last one was an example of Loftar addressing something that was seen as unfair. None of these were bugs.

The fact that you can do it is a bug in itself, kinda like how you could disable a mine with a single drying rack back in world one.

Anyway, this is all an out of game thing, and should be settled out of game. With fists.

two accounts being logged on the same IP, scents, etc. i'm not sure what other information loftar logs. keep in mind that loftar isn't an idiot.

the only reason you have any issue with this is because you don't like rage.

Or maybe it's because Rage got free pass only because he is too much of a coward to cope with his addiction...

what does that even mean? stop being an idiot. rage was killed by account abuse and there was no in-game method of killing him otherwise, and no in-game recourse.

are you all saying that you'd prefer the devs take no action in cases of account abuse? that's a far worse precedent to set if you ask me.

Well you seem to be saying that two accounts logged in from same IP proves something.

Being able to wall in players was not a bug at all. It was just a cruel thing to do.

Who's to say it hasn't? :v And it's not an all out of game thing. Somebody's character was killed. That's in-game. Loftar didn't go to Gato's house and slap him on the wrist. He fixed what he could. What's your issue with that? Do you think stealing passwords is cool? Because if so, I know there's a certain russian client you might be interested in.

can we agree that there's a big difference between known bugs and unknown bugs? the unknown bugs that killed g1real and me back in world 2 both got us rezzed. there was no outcry there because that's a legit cause for rez.

If you can steal my account, you're welcome to it. Either way, the only abuse I see here is trust abuse IRL, and what happens IRL is none of the game's concern. If your roommate cancelled your WoW account with 20 lvl70 chars on it, do you think Blizzard would give a fuck about your complaints? All you could do would be beating the shit out of your roomie, and learning to pick better friends in the future.

And yeah, unknow bugs is a legit reason for a rez, that's been the policy since the beggining.

As for IPs, I'm having a thick day, please spell out to me what it's supposed to prove.

I think we can both agree that we're glad we're not playing WoW.
