Realism has had its way with you and there's nothing to do about it except take ten or fifteen cold showers.

Seriously though, freehand is nice but sounds hard to code. I'd content myself with picking a suitably Germanic font and just do plain text.

The book page is a small square of pixels that have:
1 - Lag
2 - Limitated PIXELS
3 - you'll never be able to write ORIZZONTALLY with a mouse. (i already see the ugly words with freehand write XD)

I'd love to write with my mouse, but i'll never ask to other 200 people to do what i like most. I know is nearly impossibile for 60% of people write with a mouse, then book will not be used.

Let the choose.
1 - Freehand write
2 - And font write

Are you sure you wanna read a comic written by me, with a mouse? I'll never be able to put words in the little square! XD I'm wondering how you'll be able too.

LET THE CHOISE FREE \o\

It would be nice to be able to combine maps in a book. Especially if they could be combined in a meaningful way. Maybe a front page divided into 4 segments for area maps, and then clicking on an area map would open a page for the corresponding 25 local maps. Even just being able to add maps to a book would help a lot with organization and cutting down on the inventory management required for mapping.

I like books. Make it so, please.

This, or else we'll end up with ten thousand copies of "dickbutt" floating around the hearthlands

I don't think writing books should be a privilege for the late game players only. Everyone should be able to write a book, a skill with the LP cost of Rage would be okay I guess. Stupid books won't be read, so I don't think there will be thousands of dumb ass storys around.
