Not the only game with perma-death, y'know. Been killed many times. And yeah, that's what i'm saying. Effective dagger use requires sneaking, ineffective dagger use is useless (well, unless we see a knife-fight pro). Still, don't you think dagger fails against spears, swords and war axes? What is it for, then?

A more convenient way of butchering! :D oh wait, should be knife then.

Say, when wearing a dagger your stab ability is cut by a percentage but your skill use is shortenned by a formula somewhere along the lines of, dex/agi and your dagger q. This allows for faster skills with a cut to power, the way a dagger should be.

or we can start a discussion about better usage for stealth...I'd love to have a dagger if there was a way to sneak up and use some type of quick attack to a vulnerable spot, say slitting the throat or slicing a huge vein(underarm or upper thigh maybe) that does huge damage. this could be an effective hunting tactic also, but would get alot of noobs killed who would have no clue why they're dead.

I would love to see more weapon choices in the game, but some weapon types will need some balancing from other stuff...

Dagger's place in game balance is: weapon for collecting herbs and giving it to some random wiz... lawspeakers.
