I don't see why people would want to smoke weed. There are much better, cheaper and less illegal ways to relax.

Haven and Hearth, for one.
Sleep, books, music, games, friends, Anything really. I think it's sad that anyone truly believes they "Need" something like pot to calm down, and I've thought that all my life. After all, I grew up in a household with two avid pot-smokers, and from living there I grew to absolutely detest it. And in turn, any kind of drugs really.

I can't do any repetitive work in H&H (harvesting etc) if I'm not high, because I get bored out of my skull.

Also, do you work? I'm guessing not. 8-12 hours of daily grind fills your head with all sorts of stupid problems that keep you awake at night. Pot helps you forget about them. Sure, I can do without it, and I often do, but I have a lot more patience for other people if I got high the night before.

Because it's non-addictive and doesn't impair your judgement like alcohol does?

Let's not bring up this discussion here. While smokehouses and smoking might seem similar, they're really not.

I usually think about other things while doing repetitive tasks, dreams, aspirations, listen to music, or books on audio. I relax by thinking. But really, 8-12 hours of grinding? That's a fairly bad example, especially with H&H. Jorb and Loftar -aren't- Korean after all. If you really need pot to get through the day, then maybe you should consider a change in your career path. I'm a college student and I hope to move on to a degree in Civil engineering, the last thing I need is illegal substances damaging my short term memory. Have fun with your short term memory loss, though.

So what is your stance on perfectly legal substances like alcohol, nicotine, aspartame, nutrasweet, glutamats and e621?

About the same, to be honest. Because of what I've seen, from personal experience, I detest most things like that, while at the same time I don't ignore that there could be a place for them. Like with opiates and such, Medicinal purposes.

Err, grinding at work. Anyway, when I grind in H&H, I plan further H&H work, and end up with plans for days in advance. Then I get frustrated because I accumulate plans faster than I make them happen. When I smoke, my mind wanders around and I don't really think that much about H&H while I'm grinding.

And my short-term memory is just fine, thank you very much.

Anyway, sorry for the huge derail, but it looks like all that needed to be said on original topic has been said already.

True, the subject was originally on Smokehouses after all, this is just something that I feel strongly about, and we're all allowed to voice our opinions after all.
