Well, in that case, no. Wine has been cock-blocking me pretty hard lately.

from the first page of that list i would highly recommend

portal bundle
kerbal space program
bastion
garry's mod
civ v (complete edition)
don't starve
ftl

those are all great games. some are indie, and linux version can probably be purchased/downloaded directly from the publishers. idk if you can get civ v for linux outside of steam. pretty sure you can't get portal outside of steam since it's a valve game.

sidebar: have you ever thought of maybe getting a windows rig to run games? like, i prefer to use a mac to do work. but a lot of the games i want/own aren't on steam for mac (e.g. fallout, elder scrolls).

I already player Portal I and II in Wine. They worked really well, and I enjoyed both. I > II, though.

I have considered it, but it just feels so horribly wasteful to have a whole computer not doing useful work. :)

And destroy my session that I haven't had to rebuild for 72 days and counting? Surely you aren't serious? :)

To call Steam a package manager is a very friendly view for a mainly Digital Rights Management tool ...
