Looms give too many LPs

Thoughts on the further development of Haven & Hearth? Feel free to opine!

make them not decay on claims, :|

personally idgaf whether it's an cornerpost site or a new buildable "pile of bricks" or whatever object, it should have the same ui as the construction interface anyway (p.s. add shift mousewheel function to build sites loftorb) the only difference would be the pile of bricks would look like a pile of bricks instead of a build sign. not sure why you feel like it's exploitative to use build sites in this manner, trav.

That's probably a fair call...
I guess I think of it as 'sploity' because it's placing a construction site without the intention to actually construct anything...

The more I think of it the more I think you're right and that the difference between properly implemented stockpiles and construction site stockpiles is fairly minimal. As such I don't object to preventing decay of construction sites on claims as a stop gap measure until stockpiles can be properly considered, that is a pretty reasonable work around that still allows the decay of random wilderness partial constructions.

Christ you fuckers are retarded.

I heard that from when I started and it seemed to have been a point of discussion since well before then, but still, even after a fresh start, we still have LP... months later... so is it really that unreasonable to think that we may have LP for months to come still, if not always and therefore maybe this debate is not so retarded?

takes devs months to finish a major feature. We're looking at another combat revamp and village management before they even come near replacing LP. There'll be more snow before we get wyrd I believe. That said. I don't think they should distract themselves for a week to invest in any of these suggestions (which are fucking retarded even if LP wasn't going to be replaced) because looms are only decent LP till you get the mats for farming then you're far too busy doing productive shit to be loom grinding. It's a fucking NON-ISSUE regardless of Lp replacement arrival or non-arrival.

Trav is being retarded asking for any kind of construction decay before a replacement for quantum storage.

Christ two fucking pages of Mwots between as Jackard so correctly dubbed them, semantics whores, to arrive at the fact that we must have QS replacements before adding construction sign decay. No I didn't read a single fucking word of their debate but I'm pretty goddamn sure that sums it the fuck up.

SNIP

Another person assuming that I'm retarded because they can't be bothered to read what I'm suggesting and therefore assume that I'm suggesting something that I'm not.

At no point did I request any specific ordering of implementation.
At several points I specifically made it clear that I am not requesting a specific ordering.

The LP argument is irrelevant to me, I have not addressed it and don't care to. Avu's responses didn't bring up LP either.

You were right that you did not have to read it, you were wrong in thinking you could guess what it was about.
