Meat Pies get my vote.

Also.. is noone concerned about the lack of cooking involved with sausages?

ANd it would be awesome if recipies allow different sausages to be interchanged to give different results...I think Jackard called it Dynamic Crafting.

Going to bump this. While it is nice to get tons of meat and intestines from a good bull, chorizos still suck. It took us 10 months now to raise those bulls and still the sausages are vastly inferior to pumpkin pies. Both FEP and hunger bar wise. If they fill more hunger, they should at least provide more FEP than a pie.

They suck so bad I use them in place of bread as filler.

Has anyone ever tried to feast boar boudins and chicken chorizos? It works rather well. I'm not saying it's a PKP and probably never will be, BUT you get tons of them out of an animal and that might outweigh their suckiness.

The only thing I am left wishing for is to have an option to stuff more meat into a single sausage (=increase FEPs) and eventually be able to mix / change meat types (like cow+sheep wurst, for example)

Boar boudin is a waste of pork. Chicken chorizo is OK, but lamb sausage is still better because pork is a lot easier to mass produce than chicken.

IMO a lot of sausages need boosting, especially the ones with fox meat. The only sausages that are really good now are DDDs and lamb sausages, chicken chorizo and bierwurst are OK, and cow chorizo is acceptable, but only because you need to breed cows for milk anyway so you have leftover meat. Everything else is rubbish.
