isn't the answer to that problem, once again: bog iron?

but removing Q from coins sounds nice as well. Maybe also reduce the number of coin types.

There is enough metal in the world. So much in fact that nobody wants a free mine.

I will now treat everyone who baaaaaws about lack of metal a complete retard, lazy ass, clueless dumbfuck and any other colorful description I might think of in the spot.

As for the topic trading doesn't work because distances are too great, all trade that is not done by crossroad is tedious boring and simply not worth it and there is no crossroad network yet and doubt it will be with the new authority drain. Trading also does not work because there are too few items for which quality does not matter and only those make for good trade currency (bulbs chantrele repair metal linen all had that in common and guess what they all act as currency; well doubt linen has much value anymore). Food has also taken a hit with the new hunger numbers being much less desirable and by extension so have chantrele.

I think this has not been stretched enough. We are currently storing food beyond belief. Mansions full of it that nobody is ever gonna eat and nobody is going to steal or trade for. I was ok with that update first, but now it seems just ludicrous..

1) Some people can't play enough to sustain a town

2) Some people don't want to join a village to get metal

3) Not everyone can actually get to/find the towns

4) Some people already have towns

5) Your a insulting loser with overcompensation issues.

The entire attitude of Killface in his thread, where is is trying to SELL something be being extremely rude, condescending, and self-entitled is probably the biggest factor in no one wanting to buy your mines, rather than there not being enough mines.

The more I think about it, the more I like my store credit idea, stalls buy items as well as selling them, every time you sell a object you get "store credit" that can be exchanged for items, stalls can link up so that credit from one is good at the other, but the owner of the stall the credit was cashed in at gains that much credit.

With the subtle implication that you have to give them metal for cut rates.

oh? on re-reading that thread it seems they are indeed "renting" it. whatever, you want a free mine with no strings attached, go find one yourself.
