For me its like 200+% and I have abit over 50AGI. this mean I am a few supergrids away (maybe 2?) from nople. I also know the direction there. And I know other towns and kin them and chat with them and discuss and compare notes. This didn't just happen, took me a long time actually until i figured it all out. I therefore know which supergrid I am in, where in that grid I am located, and how far away from the nearest map edge (south) I am.

You want metal, or mines or trade? Work for it, earn it, make sure you deserve it.

it was 430 i believe and i have 25 agil. i can check again once the servers are up. also, they're only russian speaking.

could something like this work:

i add somebody who knows their location, add them to party, see their direction and figure out where i need to go from there.

Yes that can work. Also I had about the same TW when I had that AGI, maybe slightly less. So you are not TOO far from the centre of the world. You could walk there or ask those russian guys if they have other towns on the way that you can do mini jumps to, drink some booze and then keep going. Thats what I do now to get to nople. If you walked it could be worthwhile for you to do a big trade for a few metal bars. Basic equipment maybe. Bricks are always popular for towns building walls. hell, most towns are generous and will trade you some stuff even if they have no immediate need for it.

If you can forage some pearls you would be set for some good trades. Otherwise cavebulbs always work well. Depends on your stats. if you can not find mussels or cavebulbs or have anything else to trade I would think that you are not prepared to even be thinking about moving into the end-game yet. Too many players want their Q5000 steel plate before they can make decent leather or fight a fox. I suggest you work on exploration and perception to get good foragables for trade before you think about metal equipment.

Once you have a few pearls or a chest of bulbs by all mean contact me again and my village will be more than happy to supply some decent stuff. If you bartered around you could probably find even better quality stuff for a few pearls. PM me if you want me to give you some actual ideas on what a newb/metalless person could make that we would be happy to trade with that isn't the standard "chest of chants" crap.
