.75, same as punch. Even if it used no IP, it would give MC users an alternative to punch for no ip

GAHH, i know this post died already but now i have to reply.
If melee users had an alternitave to punch, everyone would go pure melee and be oneshotting bears by the end of their first week.

Not exactly. Punch shouldn't be an endgame attack, imo. Sting has a higher weight than punch as it is and the idea would be to have a nerfed sting. And you can kill bears relatively easily with sting as it is. Only real things that are needed are the combat abilities.

Wrong. Punch weight is 1.00, what is same as sting. But punch damage is 0.75*50(base damage)*sqrt(Str/10), and sting damage is <base damage>*sqrt (sqrt (q*str)/10).

No, punch weight is definitely .75. The tooltip was never updated properly when the punch nerf was added nearly a year ago and with thorough testing, it was concluded it was lowered to .75.

Pretty sure it's 0.75, the tooltip has always been wonky since that nerf.
