After analyzing this idea in detail I have a few more concerns:

- LP Banked hugemongous Claims™ would not only impair the efficency of this proposed measure, but would probably spiral out of control as death™ would become a predictable certainty, rather than a easily avoided possibility and as players plan accordingly to minimize the impact.

- What would become of any items on the alt that died of old age? Are they lost to the aether? Do they pop out on the site he last logged out of? Do they end up in the starter equipment chest when Inheriting his stats and claim? Wot?

Not sure how LP banked claims would be any more egregious with old age and death. If anything, they would be less egregious, as LP would be less available.

As to the items...
They could be put in a chest in the character creation room, where your spawn could pick up the belongings as they enter the world.

Loftar said something, a few months back, about considering death by old age for the original Haven.
I am curious if Jorbtar gave it any consideration for the new Haven.

Maybe when owner of claim dies, he loses the claim and all LP? :)

I find it funny that you think this will get rid of alts. It will just make alt schedules. Every x weeks determined to the second I start a new farmer/jeweler/fighter/whatever alt that said alt gets fed exactly the same determined diet as his precursors down a looooong long line. Bots will take care of this. If bots get removed like yeah right then big coordinate comunist villages will just do it all organized like, they will have the best gear always at least a few fighter alts because all characters in that system are alts nobody cares about if they die a few weeks earlier or later. Meanwhile casuals and hermits go omg I finally killed a deer yay old age strikes you die they quit.

And what's with this neckbeard bulshit? Is it supposed to be an insult somehow?

They should add Fat %.
If your char eats too much stuff like cheese, sausage, fat % increases and chance of getting hearth attack ( and dieing to it ) increases. And you would have to wait for it to decrease (no ways to boost this)

Why would you necro this terrible thread?
Early world exploit: Put your hearthfire inside a cave, then hold shift to position a claim right in front of a cave. After 8 hours the claim will be unbreakable. Since your hearthfire is inside the cave, you can still get back inside, and leave, but nobody will be able to enter, effectively making you unraidable for the first 3-7 days. Enjoy

I like aspects of what your trying to achieve. How you set it forth no I don't care for it. Growing old and death are very complex issues that need to be managed in a game format and you open up so much more by even going there. It's a bit daunting. I think there could be other ways to achieve the ends you seek.
