Make Scents Nameless

It will make tracking scents more mysterious and require a bit more deduction on the part of the Ranger. You just picked up the scent of a theft, and it leads you to a house where the scent suddenly ends. Two people reside in the house, but how do you know which one is the culprit? Do you search their house for the stolen property? Do you interrogate them peacefully or by force? Or do you just kill them both and let the Gods decide?

I think it would make things a bit more fun.

I've.. no.. haha.. actually I seen a scent once but I distinctly remember seeing the person's name on the scent. Am I wrong? As for tracking I never tried.. I assume it's like following a dowsing rod?

i'd advise you to familiarize yourself with the basics of a mechanic before making suggestions regarding that mechanic. scents do not have names on them. they do work similar to a dowsing rod, though.

You're right. I probably should have attempted finding another scent again and making certain that there was indeed a name or not with the scent rather than basing my suggestion off of memory alone. I apologize for this unnecessary thread.
