I live a fairly secluded, serene life (in game, that is... irl is a different matter entirely!

), and I've never owned a bear cloak yet. They look pretty snazzy when i see the occasional traveller wearing them, but they're just a little bit too aggressive and militaristic for everyday walking around and doing chores imho. But I was thinking, what about a linen or silk based cloak that would operate much the same way, but instead of being this crazy bear head intimidating thing, it would look more like a monk's robe? Maybe it could give a small psy or cha bonus as well. Travellers could gear up with all sorts of b12 axes and steel armor and whatever, but hide it all under a snazzy hooded robe! Right now, it seems there's a bear cloak for warriors, the hirdsman's cape for leaders, and that's about it. I don't know if a hooded "monk's robe" would be more well suited for the cloak inventory slot, or the cape slot. Maybe it could take up both? and maybe the head/hat slot too? That way you could justify a larger PSY or CHA bonus.
Historically it would be plausible as well, since there were at least a handful of monks at least during the "dark" ages in northern europe, the benedictine rule was already established by the 6th or 7th century, right? Not saying the in game cloak has to be overtly "catholic" of course, just that the idea of monasticism isn't ridiculously far fetched for this game-world, and that's the only way i can creatively justify the attribute bonuses

Obviously, this is in no way a priority for the game, just a little idea.
