Milk in curdin tub as water in a cauldron

Postby Skorm » Fri Aug 13, 2010 4:25 pm

Well, i was playing around whit milk and cheese curds, then i used the wrong milk in the wrong tub (just some points in q , no real hurry ) but since i like to have all my cheese at the same q i wanted to remove it and use more "good" q milk, then i realised we cant remove milk from a curd, i though it would work just as it does whit a cauldron, Can we have this feature :D ?

+1. I might even say do the same for rennet, so that with an empty bucket or jar you could take out whatever milk or rennet remains in the tub. Maybe i'm a little compulsive, but i hate having the milk/rennet ratio screwed up in a tub because i goofed and put in 9.5L or whatever instead of 10L and didn't realize it until afterwards. (bloody calves, stealing the milk from what should otherwise be a full udder!!!)

Obviously there's ways to deal with this as is, but it would just be so much cleaner and well-behaved to have a simple solution like this.
