Climate, Weather, and Seasons

I don't really have a whole lot of description to go into on this topic but I feel adding systems to incorporate on the minimum level (seasons and weather) would make for some interesting and varied game-play mechanics. Seasons could last maybe 1 week real life time? Certain crops could prevail during a particular season and not do so hot during others. Forgive me if this has already been addressed but I just started playing recently.

Did you run a search? What keywords you used?

Heres a hint to you and all noobies. If you don't find it in search, just double check by checking the titles of suggestions in the first three pages of C&I, if it isn't in either of those, then it should be fair enough, you might still get flamed.

I think we should also have a village that comes with every char, that has 5 girls, a farm girl, a barmaid, a shoopkeepers daughter, a librarian and a nurse.
Some random seasonal events like who has the best cow and who can cook the best dish
there should be some little things called sprites that think eggs are cucumbers and call you budum, and some guy called butch who collects your yeild at the end of the day and pays you in money
