Inventory

backpack and merchant's robe should act as traveler's bag, depending on quality sholud increase the number of inventory slots.

for exemple: backpack q 10 + 2 vertical rows(like it is)
backpack q 100 + 3 vertical
backpack q 200 + 4vertical .......

Sounds reasonable.

Traveller's Sacks should need higher quality before raising as well, something like q90 then q250 :/

Backpacks and Merch Robes are items that are typically worn permanently, so that amount of extra inventory space might be considered overpowered in some way. Though, I somewhat agree with the numbers (at least that they should be fairly high); q100 leather is difficult to make, and it would be pretty well rewarded. Doubt you could do all too much harm with an extra 4-5 inventory slots.

More space wouldn't hurt.
Would be imho better if it would be implentented as generic bags (seedbag style for other stuff, already suggested plenty of times, use search to find out more).

I see a distant future where the inventory window fills half of the screen on the standard client.

I fail to see how a big inventory imbalances the game in any way. Only limitation is the fucking stone age resolution of the standard client.

The only danger I see is the fact that it will drive down the value of Chentrelles somewhat.

Is that a fact? Well, you're a goddamn Philistine!

The danger I see is devaluing larger, harder to construct buildings like stone mansions or brick walls, which is okay if it involves special preparation and a pre-existing tech level (Having a wagon or even a cart, for example), but not so much if all it takes is a one-time investment into a better backpack or a robe.
