Cannibalism

Postby Oblivior » Mon Aug 23, 2010 4:12 pm

After buying the Murder skill that player has the ability to butcher a killed player for Human Meat (Quality depending on Survival and Killed player stats)
Butchering should yield allot of LP depending on the Killed player hes stats.

also it should yield a Skull as decoration
wich will add the furniter option :

Skull on a stick :
Human Skill
2xBones
1x Stick

When using a torch on it it can be lighted like a torchpost.

Skull Helmet :
Semi good protection (not better then metal)
should look scary.

Skull Cup :
Symbal item to put drinks in.

For cosmetics, yes, for protection, no, that way anyone with murder can make an alt and kill it instead of getting metal.

It would work as an addition to an idea suggested no earlier than yesterday in this thread, but not very interesting as a stand-alone idea.

Cosmetic. Just as long as it looks awesome.

Or maybe just a little boost slightly better then wood not as good as metal.

How about the meat of the person is 2-3 servings of human meat depending on the persons FEP. Ex: 10 of any stats give nothing. 11 gives about .02, 12 gives .04

All FEP rounded down to the nearest tenth. So until the person has 15 of any stat, it give any FEP. This would prevent a lot of alt spamming and only when you defeat someone thats been playing for about a month will give you decent FEPs.

Ooh, I like this one! Quite minor and probably not worth chasing after deliberately, but a nice bonus if you're into this sort of thing.
However, seeing how videogames are amoral, I should pose a question: are we okay with this? Because no-one's going to bat an eye over it if it gives a bonus. I'm not, and I think it should be considered criminal, leave a scent, and be heavily affected by a hearthling's personal beliefs.

Sure scents. Maybe gives more meat at death meaning more use to death.

I'd rather FEP's were affected directly, with a black FEP included - with a better ratio as you moved your slider over to death or barbarism. Naturally, you'd have to counterbalance it, and the burial idea from that thread I linked seems perfect for it.

Consuming human flesh should also grant the Kuru buff which slowly degenerates your HHP until you die. :)
