Stats and Tree Planting.

Stats.

I've noticed some people are in the habit of training their strength and constitution to obscene levels; ignoring all of their other stats. The main reason for this is that most of the other stats do very little. So, here's a list of suggested stat changes I've heard of before and would really like to see, and a few I thought up off the top of my head.

Strength: Nothing new.

Agility: Should affect all combat manuvers a good deal. Should increase walk speed by a barely noticeble amount. Should lower the attack wait timer slightly.

Intelligence: Should raise learning ability by 1% or so per point of intelligence.

Consitutition: Should increase maximum stamina, and stamina regeneration slightly.

Perception: Should increase bow damage (after pathfinding).

Charisma: Should affect bard type stuff (as Blaze suggested), animal domestication stuff, and leadership stuff.

Tree Planting.

I've always had a hard time planting trees inside my small city plot and getting them to grow to a decent level. That is why I suggest that there be a translucent image of the tree that follows your cursor around when you are holding a sprouted tree in a pot. The image would change to whatever the maximum stage is that the tree could reach if it was planted in that spot. Allowing us to see how big it could get, and how well it would look when it is done growing. This idea seemed rather popular. :)

Everything you just said seconded, except I'd add on that Perception should increase the chance of hitting with all weapons.

I love the idea that intelligence should increase your learning ability. I really hope to see something like this implemented, even on a very small scale (like a half of a percent or less).

I agree with most of that, here's a few additional notes:

Strength should effect how much you can carry/lift and how fast you move while carrying it.

Agility currently affects combat quite a bit... I'm pretty sure it's tied up in your chance to hit, not sure if it lowers the timer

Intelligence is currently used in stealth, I can see it being useful for a lot of other things in the future. If they plan on dumping LP then tying intelligence to it seems a bit of a step backwards

Having Con increase stamina as well as HP makes it a pretty massive stat to have, is that what you intend?

Lots of great stuff here.

Alternate suggestion for Con: maybe instead of boosting regen time and overall Stamina, it can lower the rate at which you use it slightly. Just for consideration.

And also, doesn't Agility already boost your walk speed a bit? I currently have around 40 agility, and I was helping my noob (in regards to stats at least) friend move stuff to his campsite, we were both holding chests and moving at speed 1 and I kept getting ahead of him, and having to wait while he caught up. I figured it was because of my higher agility(?).

I assume the intelligence giving learning ability would be a easy thing to implement, and would be very useful until they revamp the system.

Don't ask me, ask Loftar. He was the one who mentioned the possibility of it.

I'm pretty sure it doesn't. Maybe he was getting caught on things, or leaving minute amounts of time between movement orders.
