Taking back murder.

Just a quick concept I'd like to get some feedback on.

As we saw with the killing of a murderer today, killing someone accidentally is unfortunately rather easy thanks to the slightly clumsy interface, my suggestion is a skill that follows on from hearth magic. It would allow a murderer, and only the murderer to revive a target he has killed as long as it is done within a minute of the murder, and it can only be done once every 24 hours. The downside of this is it would require an extension to the current death mechanics instead of kicking the player to the login screen, although perhaps it could be fitted into the interface of character select.

Once revived, the murder scent is replaced by a battery scent, and the target remains KO'ed for a normal duration.

Perhaps give it a reagent requirement of 1 silk thread for lore, I don't know.

I believe after players die they ought to enter into an afterlife, their physical body is more than likely permanently gone, depending on their level of change. This afterlife/dream world would be a place of no consequence for players, and ultimately, no reward either.

What this can do, is provide a bridge instead of forced logging out, this way dead characters can live on, and be reborn through those means instead of creating a new character.

Perhaps in the future, a rudamentary form of revival or even necromancy could exist. Perhaps even spirits, ghosts, possessions, These things are rich in the Era this game takes place in.

well imo it should be fixed with stopping the attack sequence after KO. that way you can't murder while not paying attention.
The ones who see things differently.

You can praise them, disagree with them, quote them, disbelieve them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can't do is ignore them.
And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius.

Problem with this is if you've got a bunch of people mobbing a target, people are bound to misclick.

If you've got a whole mob of people attacking someone, I can't see how you could expect it to end any different, Realistically.

... I have this strange urge to open up a tavern in the afterlife now.

Oh... I thought it did... You can still kill someone accidentally from a regular fight though, the murder skill is only required to kill someone who is knocked out (regardless of their current HHP)
