Why not?

No. I will be don't to hard to make, but useless for players, because those walls will be at center of title, so they will have 2 titles long.

cost can be adjusted to reflect the nature of the construction.

It would not be useless. It would be useful for protecting trade routes. should large enough operations exist to make investing in such a thing a reasonable investment.

The nature of such a construction obviously depends on a more advanced investment, travel and combat schemata which are in the works and on the agenda.

I can't see why not other than new graphics really, it's a great idea.

Sometimes you just need something to go diagonally and going straight one way and then the other is both a pain and due to the way speed works, much slower in the long run. Would be nice to see this before teleporting kicks the bucket.

1) 1.4142135623730950488016887242097

2) Better question would be if its planned feature for the game. (unless your assuming(?) its already dismissed.)

Maybe on the forums, but I'm absolutely sure everyone has complained about the fact that they can't be diagonal.. The simplest ideas are always the best.

Agreed.

Also some battlements so you can walk along the top of walls would be nice.

Could not find anything on diagonal walls either.
There was some diagonal road experimenting. Picked up from some other topic(?). But its status is unknown to me.
Until that is worked out I don't think walls will go diagonal either. Think kaka might knows something about the diagonal road status/problems.

(Roads and walls don't really compare, but ok.)

That's been talked about before.
