STASH TIN AND TOBACCO POUCH FOR SMOKEABLES

My idea is for a stash tin, that can hold up to 9 pieces of cured hemp bud, made out of a single nugget of any common metal. The tobacco pouch can hold up to 9 pieces of tobacco, and is made out of 1 piece of leather. Some variations on the idea is that they both the tin and the pouch can hold either buds or tobacco, but make the pouch only 4 space and leave the tin at 9. Another idea i had was to be able to turn a parchment into a rolling paper, and you can combine 1 bud or tobacco to make a joint or a cigarette.

I like this. Just because a tobacco pouch is cool.

Big no on parchment cigarettes, though. It's still sheepskin, remember? That must taste horrible!

I thought it would be easier to just be able to make them out of parchment, as there isn't any paper. But that gave me another idea. How about adding a new crop, rice to the game. It can be harvested to turn into food, which can be turned into a bowl of rice with a cauldron full of hot water. Instead of plant fibers it leaves a rice plant bough, which if ground up in a quern, can then be added to a bucket of water to make pulp. the pulp can then be dried on a herbalist table to make rice paper. It can be used in place of a parchment, and can be used to make rolling papers. As for snuff, a snuff bottle could be made out of one brick of clay, then burnt in a kiln to make it, and having 9 spaces available for snuff.

I figured as much. And I'm pretty sure Jorb and Loftar didn't want rice in H&H, so no.

I basically wondered why they never bothered to implement real paper, made out of bark or boards?
C'mon, you got brick walls!

I wonder why they also don't consider stacking more specific items, like same quality parchments or something that makes sense? Bone Glue doesn't stack, which seems odd, but in a way, bone glue comes with their own containers so maybe that could be it.
Hide straps definitely needs a stack though.

As for this topic, I've never actually got to the point of making a pipe and smoking to get the FEV effect... Someone swiped my pipe!

I have had a few more ideas related to smoking . My first one is snus. I can be made from one ground tobacco and a cauldron with at least 0.1 hot water in it. It works in the same manner as smoking tobacco, but does not need a pipe, and takes 2 maybe 3 times longer to decrease travel weariness and increase the smoke & fire buff at the same rate. It will work like food, once used it will disappear from your inventory, but using more than one will not increase the time it takes to reduce travel weariness or increase smoke and fire, so using more than one at a time will just be a waste.

My next idea is for a hookah and shisha tobacco. A hookah will work like a table, but without the ornaments slots. You put your shisha or plain tobacco inside and have a smoke feature. Unlike food though it will take longer to smoke, maybe as long as it takes to chip stone when you have just started out, but make it quicker than a pipe. It is not able to be put in your inventory, as it is built rather than crafted. It will need 4 raw glass and a bar of any common metal. It can hold 5L of water, and the dirty water will have to be replaced after a while (to simulate this have every use of the hookah take away a small bit of water). Up to 4 people can use it at once. Cured hemp buds also work in a hookah.

Shisha will be craftable with ground tobacco and honey, with some other food ingredient, such as an apple, blueberry and grape for different flavors. The different flavors will give different FEP points, and add some hunger. For example apple shisha will give the same effects as normal tobacco as well as +1 (or whatever number seems suitable) constitution (apples give no FEP so i figured apple pie FEP will work), grape shisha would give +1 charisma, and blueberry would give +1 intelligence. Those are just examples, as I am sure there will be loads more options if more fruit and spices get added. It can only be smoked in a hookah.

Another idea i had was for vinum opii, a mixture of wine and opium. It was used throughout ancient times as a medicine to treat a variety of illnesses. It can be used as a way of healing HHP, and is made my combining a bottle of wine with 3 poppies. Instead of the "a glass with a friend" buff, you will receive another buff (haven't thought of a name) that works like a leech, it will take away one SHP with a chance of returning one HHP. To make it balanced, the buff will last maybe just a bit longer than a leech, but not by much. It can only be drunk from a wine glass. This will make healing yourself easier if you don't have a swamp near by or to low level to tame sheep or see clovers. Its also another use for poppies, which don't have many uses at the moment.

4.This game is not about narcotics, besides you just have not used poppy, lol. Boar tusk snuff and RoB food.
So you don't have enough time to get a sheep or find a clover(hell they spawn so often on grassed lands, and for sure you have grassed lands on deforested areas, so you are just lazy), but have enouugh time to make wine, harvest poppy for opium (oh lol). And you can't find a swamp? C'mon man, stop narcotics, drink weisbier and wine.
Totally 'NO' imho.
As for OP idea+1. Good.pretty good, almost awesome.
