Since when do the devs do resurections on request?

Postby Avu » Sun Sep 12, 2010 12:45 pm

Since my previous "subtle" thread got moved to hell by the goon moderator who pretended ignorance regarding the topic I will come out and do it the obvious way this time. So again since when did the devs start doing char resurrections? Known bugs like wall jumping never got anyone resurrected before and arguably those should merit revival why start making an exception now for Rage.

a man need only strike another to make him evil."

Because Gato's life was at risk. Those rednecs have weapons after all.

Wait, what? Resurrecting people? This is bullshit. Nobody resurrected Klaue when he got killed through wall jumping. So I guess this is a permadeath game on weekdays, and not on weekends or something?

Wait, what? Did this really happen or are we flying off half...erm...cocked?
If game bugs being exploited...especially known bugs...are a reason for revival, we have a long list of applicants.

I am really hoping this is BS.

If someone hurts another over killing a virtual character, that person really shouldn't be playing the game in the first place.

The argument I put forth was that Rage's character was killed via an out of game means. If wall jumping or some other in game means had been used to kill his character, there would have been scents to follow at least.

So how much do we have to pay to have him killed again, hmm?

Or should I threaten to strangle my dog or something if my demands are not met?

So from this point on, whenever you get killed, claim that someone else was controlling your character. Not a slippery slope at all.

Well, I suppose the slipperiness of the slope would all depend on who had control, and how they got it.
