I'd like to suggest that we be able to pave over regular stone with gold, just to show off.

Make it un-unpavable? although that could be expliotable., even thought I doubt a griefer would use gold in griefing.

If you have so much gold you're using it to pave the floor, I don't think losing a bit would bother you. Besides, just put it behind a palisade. Just needs to be visible :P

I'd rather want thrones (bone, skull, gold, gems(?)) first, and red long carpets that cost a shitton of inkweed(?) and linen. After that, we can talk about golden roads...
