Because some people can't follow rules. Discuss here, vote there.

This may very well get lost in the mix, but oh well.

This sounds like an invitation to spam accounts ;) I think the poll is pointless anyway. It's Jorb and Loftar's game and they can make the decision all by themselves, like the big boys they are.
i guess they never miss huh

Agreed on all counts.

Also good move on taking it to the discussion thread

I don't think anyone would spam the forums just to post a vote in a silly, and to all effects and purposes, useless topic. But, remembering the immaturity of these boards, you may be right.

As do I, but if they're going to take themselves seriously, they might as well do it right. :)

Anyone else connecting those dots?

Look at the join dates. If they were all accounts made to vote yes in the thread (which I assume is what you are speculating) they wouldn't have been created 2 weeks before this thread was posted.
There is 4 people in the thread with 1 post who voted, and one of them even voted no. There is still 23 people who voted yes and 14 people who has voted no, you do the math.

fecalphiliac is a real player with a retarded name.

Let's not turn this into a witchhunt, please - try using your head for once. A rigged poll is even more worthless than a normal poll, of course we aren't going to try rigging it.

Well fuck, I guess only people who talk on the forum enough have the right to voice their opinion on a matter that effects everyone regardless.
You only bring up their post count, without noting that most of them have been registered a while.

Actually, all those people with only one post just don't talk here. They talk on IRC, and we gave them the link to the thread and told them to vote. As mentioned, note the age of the accounts.

I don't know what you're trying to argue about here, certainly nothing I've disputed.

I should point out that I wasn't the person who implied that the single-shotters were accounts made for the sole purpose of voting. Sooo, you're yelling at the wrong guy. :P

Really, why do you always get hostile so fast? :| If you had read the whole thread you would see your points were already made in a calmer manner, and noted.

Edit: And the join date really means nothing when many people have had alts registered for ages. I have like 5 throwaway accounts registered. : P
