Stern Order sucks absolute shit particularly because it TAKES the 5IP from the other players.


It's bad enough that the formula for CHA isn't too tough and a 200 CHA v 100 CHA only yields 1, a 600 v a 100 yields 2...

Is there any reason to not have it work that way? Party skills are already bad enough, at least To Arms can be decent on situation, Stern Order is just shit.

hmm just tested 299 charisma vs 24 charisma, and got maybe 3 points, not sure, i cant really tell. i would have expected it to be a straight comparison between our stats and me to have full advantage at that huge of a difference.

do you happen to know the formula btw? or did you just get 2 people with those stat differencees.

I believe it's sqrt(leader cha/target cha), since that's how manoeuvres work.

Anyway, I totally agree, Stern Order should only consume the party leader's IP.

Hard to tell on Stern Order but either way it's crap.

To Arms! on the other hand is fairly decent, since at 200 v 100 you get 1.4 but it somehow rounds up to 2 it seems, and at 600v100 you get 2.4 but it also somehow rounds up to 3.

The fact that this move will not only remove init from the party leader that uses the skill but also from the party members makes it dangerous. since the party leader could basically couse hes party members death by removing 5 inits from everyone at the wrong moment. This move does really not promote party activities since you would have to trust the party leader with your life, and how can you make sure he even has the charisma needed to even gain anything from the move.

Who in their right mind would even think of getting 600 charisma..
